Mid-Senior Systems Engineer (MSSE1120)

You have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux-based environments
  • Solid experience in the deployment and administration of web application stacks (e.g. Apache/ Nginx/ Apache Tomcat/Tomee)
  • Experience with Azure Client services
  • Experience with logging and monitoring systems (e.g. Syslog, Graylog, Nagios Core/ Zabbix)
  • Familiarity with common backup strategies and backup tools
  • Good scripting skills (shell scripts, Python)
  • Working experience on virtualization technologies (Vmware-ESXi 6.5)
  • Good understanding of best practices in setting up, securing and monitoring server infrastructure
  • Excellent networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routing, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls)
  • Ability to multitask and excellent time management skills
  • International perspective

You might also have:

  • Experience with ELK Stack
  • Experience with cloud technologies tools (GIT, Jira)
  • Hands-on engineering on dataceneter server room
  • Understanding of JAVA and XML/JSON
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows server technologies
  • Experience with database servers (e.g. MySQL / MS SQL/ Oracle)

You will be:

  • Managing and administrating of MS Office365 Accounts & services.
  • System administrator of Centos/ Ubuntu systems and Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 (installation, configuration, package management, etc.).
  • Managing and monitoring systems and infrastructure.
  • Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system tools.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems on servers and networks.
  • Developing and monitoring backup procedures and scripts.
  • Managing user accounts and system policies.
  • Collaborating with developers to maintain the stability of the application.
  • Managing Jira Service desk ticketing system
