We argued early (October 2024) that data architecture is foundational, because every AI capability—especially agents—depends on reliable, accessible, well-governed enterprise data. In November 2024, we outlined why AI agents represent a paradigm shift: unlike traditional automation or chatbots, agents can reason, orchestrate steps, and interact with business systems to complete outcomes.
